January Point Totals

Dark Angels: 3 pts (3 pts terrain, 3 pts win)
Imperial Guard: (1 pt loss)
Necrons: 4 pts (2 pt tie, 3 pts terrain)
Tyranid: 2 pts (2 pts tie)

This post is to track the score for the month and is not final until the end of the month. This post will be updated as January's scores accumulate. At the end of each month, the points total will be added to the "Current Score" on the right hand side of the page.

The Crane

The latest industrial terrain from me-- a former child's toy crane built up and worn down to an impressively large piece of wargaming terrain. This could up 20 or more figures across its entire height, and, while good for this campaign, it should really shine in future Necromunda games. There are more pictures and more information here.

The Rat's Nest

Within two dozen miles of the engagement area of the Dark Angels and Imperial Guard debacle, energy scans picked up a faint, though largely inert, power source. Ravenwing scouts returned with visual confirmation of a wrecked Land Raider. Interestingly enough, it is a pre-Heresy MkI design, with markings that indicate it may have belonged to the Blood Angels chapter. Even more interesting is that it looks like it has been re-purposed to serve as a makeshift bunker in the middle of more civilian ruins. This find is significant as it marks the first military artifact found on the surface of Trucidos to this point. An exploratory detachment has been sent in to investigate. Imperial C.A.N.

The Imperial STC blueprint for the C.A.N. is widespread across countless Imperial worlds. The C.A.N. (Contained Architectural Nexus) serves a variety of purposes and can be built for a specific task in mind, or left bare so it can be altered with construct modules to adapt to different needs. This particular C.A.N. found on the surface of Trucidos represents a science research post. It has room to comfortably house two people for up to a month at a time. There are two levels inside containing living quarters and storage, with an observation and communications deck up top. Below ground is a basement level that houses scientific equipment, research bench, and additional storage.
